ABOUT THE CONCERT
Get ready for an evening of talent, love, and hope! From cultural dancing to pop singing, this benefit concert will showcase unique talents by students of Clear Lake High School.
Dedicated to CCISD Cares, a organization designed to assist Clear Creek ISD families with basic needs during times of crisis. In light of COVID-19, we will be supporting families who have faced numerous hardships. We looking forward to being able to lend a helping hand to our community through music and love.
Alex Lee is a junior at CLHS and loves music! He started taking piano and violin lessons at age 6. Alex plays tennis and takes tennis lessons and participates in the science olympiad team. He enjoys learning, especially computer coding, and enjoys working in teams and helping others, such as volunteering at church to teach Sunday school.
Emmy Li is currently a junior attending Clear Lake High School. She is a prominent member and officer in many clubs at her school including Science Olympiad, Asian Culture Club, and Earth Club. Music has always been her passion since she started playing violin in the sixth grade. She is also artfully skilled in painting and drawing, and her other hobbies include playing tennis and reading. Emmy is grateful for this opportunity to give back to the community through this upcoming benefit concert.
Isabella Zhang is a junior at Clear Lake High School. She plays oboe in the Clear Lake High School Wind Ensemble and in the Houston Youth Symphony. She has also been playing piano since she was 4 years old. Isabella is also a part of other school organizations such as Stem Siblings, Asian Culture Club, and other honor societies. In her free time, Isabella enjoys playing guitar and volunteering with the League City Animal Shelter.
Amanda Morse is a current junior at Clear Lake High School. Amanda has been playing the French Horn since sixth grade and is currently a member of the Wind Ensemble Band at CLHS. She is very active in the Lake community as the Class Secretary for the Class of 2023, a Drill Instructor for band, and an officer for the Science National Honor Society. In her free time, Amanda enjoys sailing and volunteering with her Girl Scout troop.
Caroline Nguyen is a junior at Clear Lake High School. Music has been a lifelong interest of hers, starting with the piano when Caroline was 6. Since then, she has also begun to play the violin and is a violinist in the CLHS Chamber 1 Orchestra. She is also a member of other school organizations such as SNHS and Earth Club. In her spare time, Caroline also enjoys visual art, reading, and playing video games.

Emma Qiao is a freshman at CLHS who loves music and performance! She's been playing the piano and dancing since she was 3. She is a part of the Clear Lake Flairs drill team and is in a multitude of clubs such as BPA, Stem Siblings, and Best Buddies. Outside of school, she enjoys baking, volunteering and watching Netflix. Emma is super excited to give back to the community through the arts and help continue the success of the Benefit Concert!
Jason Nguyen is a sophomore at Clear Lake High School. He really enjoys piano and has been playing piano for several years. He also practices Karate and enjoys competition math. Jason is very excited to give back to the community through music and hopes for the continued success of the benefit concert.
Richard is a senior at Clear Lake High School. He started playing piano in elementary school and enjoys playing anime music on it. In his free time, he dabbles in poetry, math, Astronomy, and tennis. Richard is very grateful for the opportunity to help give back to his district and community.
Michael Yo is a Junior at Clear Lake High School. Music has been a big part of Michael’s life since he was little. He started playing the piano when he was 4. He also plays the cello and is currently part of the CLHS Chamber 1 Orchestra. Michael is also involved in Earth Club, Assisteens, and has been serving as an altar server for the past 8 years at his local church. During his free time, Michael likes to play games with his friends and learn new things.
Joseph Zhang is a sophomore at Clear Lake High School. Music has been a big part of Joseph’s life since he was little, playing piano from the age of 3. He also plays the violin and is part of the CLHS Chamber 1 Orchestra. Joseph is also involved in a number of clubs at CLHS such as Scioly, HOSA, MNHS, and Stem Siblings. During his free time, Joseph enjoys playing tennis and competitive Minecraft with his friends.
Joy Wang is a junior at Clear Lake High School. She has been surrounded by music for most of her life, actively learning piano from the age of 4 and cello at the age of 10. She is a part of the Chamber 1 orchestra at Lake and often accompanies the other orchestras as a pianist. In her free time, she likes baking and making origami. Joy is excited to move away from competition and give back to the community through music!
Jason Sha is a freshman at Clear Lake High School. He loves music and has been playing piano since age 5 and violin since age 9. Outside of school, he enjoys a variety of activities, including violin, tennis, and robotics. He has been a part of the TMEA Middle Symphonic Orchestra and has placed in a variety of violin competitions. He is excited to use this opportunity to support the community with something he loves!
Amelie Nguyen is a freshman at Clear Lake High School. She really enjoys swimming and has been swimming for several years, even making it to state. She is on CLHS's Varsity Swim Team and the Class of 2025's Historian, along with participating in many clubs. Outside of school, she enjoys biking and being active. Amelie is excited to give back to the community by helping the Benefit Concert continue its success!

Megan Wang is currently a sophomore at Clear Lake High School and avid lover of music, dance, and books. She plays the violin in the CLHS Chamber l Orchestra and enjoys playing cards with friends and family in her free time
